Our school is designed to provide children with the educational foundation they need to prepare for Kindergarten & a lifetime of learning. All areas of development are fostered in our school as children are provided with hands on learning opportunities. In doing so, they become confident and capable in their abilities to continue learning throughout their lives.
What Does FREYS Stand For?
F – Four-Year-Old Program
Designed specifically for 4-year-old children and held 4 days per week.
R – Ready for Kindergarten
Preparing children with the academic, social, emotional, and developmental skills needed for kindergarten success.
E – Educated Teachers
Research-based instruction, hands-on learning experiences, and introductory American Sign Language (ASL).
Y – Young World Exploration
Expanding children’s understanding of the world through 4 field trips and meaningful real-world experiences.

What we provide for your children:
Kindergarten Readiness Program with hands on learning!
Each day of instruction incorporates Early Learning Utah Core Standards with developmental theories as the foundation for all learning opportunities. One such theorist was that of Jean Piaget who incorporated hands on engagement while learning. Doing so allows for children to not only understand what they are learning, but to apply and retain the information as well!
More days per week in school!
“Mom, is school today?”
Children in their early childhood years are eager and excited to learn and attend school! Our school accommodates for this by providing 4 days of instruction for children (Monday-Thursday) rather than every other day!
- 1/2 day schedule: 2.5 hours per day= 10 hours per week= 40 hours per month!
- Full Day schedule: 6 hours per day= 24 per week= 96 hours per month!
4 Fieldtrips per year! Our school provides opportunities for children to see, visit, and experience the world around them in age appropriate ways! These opportunities will be in conjunction with the curriculum that is being taught and are calculated into the monthly tuition! No surprise costs! Parent volunteer admission to these events is also paid for!

Bringing values back
Morals and values have been declining from the educational system. This is concerning to parents and educators alike. Small Frey’s Preschool believes that core values of honesty, integrity, kindness, and being of service to others need to be brought back to the classroom. This is taught, not only in the classroom, but is practiced as children are able to participate in age appropriate service opportunities throughout the year!

- Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will receive instructions to pay the non-refundable enrollment fee.
- After your enrollment fee has been received, you will receive an email confirming your child’s enrollment at Small Freys Preschool.
