Ashley Frey graduated as Valedictorian of her 2022 class from Weber State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Her passion for child development began early as the second of ten children, helping care for her younger siblings, and has continued through raising her own six children.
While attending Weber State, Ashley developed the business model for Small Freys Preschool, winning funding through the Wildcat Seed Fund business competition in both 2019 and 2022. She also completed extensive classroom practicums and an internship with the Ogden School District providing reading interventions for elementary students.
After graduation, Ashley partnered with the Ogden School District to establish Small Freys Preschool at Shadow Valley Elementary. Through hands-on learning, nurturing relationships, and a developmentally appropriate curriculum, Ashley is committed to helping every child build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
